- What is a traditional Turkish hammam?
- A hammam is a bathing house built around a central heated marble platform, surrounded by domed chambers, arches and small alcoves with marble basins. The rhythm of the visit — warmth, water, rest — is one of the oldest bathing traditions in Anatolia.
- Do I need to bring anything?
- A pestemal (woven cotton wrap) is provided. Guests typically wear swimwear or comfortable underwear beneath the pestemal. Personal toiletries are optional.
- Is the hammam suitable for couples and families?
- Yes. Private bathing alcoves and considered scheduling allow couples and families to share the experience while respecting the traditional separation of the bathing chambers.
- How do I reserve a visit?
- The most direct way to reserve is by WhatsApp using the reservation button on this website. You may also call or email the hammam directly.
- Is the hammam a medical or therapeutic treatment?
- No. The Turkish hammam is a cultural bathing tradition. Local stories reference the historic well beneath the building, but the hammam does not offer medical or therapeutic services.
- Where exactly is the hammam located?
